John Legend And Chrissy Teigen Share The First Image Of Baby Esti’s Face
Chrissy Teigen adores her daughter with all of her heart. When she posted a fresh image of her 11-day-old baby on January 24, the Cravings cookbook author couldn’t help but gush over Esti Maxine, whom she welcomed with her husband John Legend earlier this month. The presenter of Lip Sync Battle posted on Instagram, “look at u out here lookin like a baby,” beside a photo of Esti’s face tucked down against a gray blanket as she dozed off on Chrissy’s chest.
In the comments section, several of Chrissy’s pals also raved about the baby, with pregnant actress Kaley Cuoco adding, “Oh em gee what a beaut!!!!!.”
Kris Jenner remarked, “Soooo beautiful just like her mama,” while Camila McConaughey added, “What a blessing.”
Esti was born on January 13, joining Miles Theodore, 4, and Luna Simone, 6, who is Esti’s elder sister. Six days later, Chrissy and John shared a sweet family portrait on Instagram to officially announce her to the world.
The photograph, which featured her two older children cuddling their baby sibling, was captioned by Chrissy.
“Esti Maxine Stephens – the house is bustling and our family could not be happier. Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love, and I am learning you still need diapers with a c section!? We are in bliss.”
The family home has been “overflowing with love and joy” since Esti’s arrival, said John—who goes by the name John Stephens—in a Jan. 19 post of his own. The singer added:
“I’m in awe of Chrissy’s strength and resilience and I’m so thrilled to see how Luna and Miles embrace their baby sister. I’m so, so grateful, but that doesn’t seem like a big enough word.”
More over two years after Chrissy and John lost the pregnancy to their son, Jack, Esti was born. Chrissy admitted in February 2022 that she had been undergoing IVF procedures in the hopes of conceiving once again, even though she had previously stated her unwillingness to have another child in the wake of Jack’s passing. Chrissy and John previously used IVF to conceive their elder children.
The Chrissy’s Court star confirmed her pregnancy in August. She shared at the time:
“The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again. I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing.”
