Charlie McDowell and Lily Collins are embracing their new role as parents of newborns — and already savoring every precious moment.

On Wednesday, February 26, the filmmaker gave his Instagram followers a glimpse into his tender bond with baby daughter Tove, whom he welcomed with his wife Lily Collins Emily in Paris star via surrogate in January. In the heartwarming snapshot shared to his Instagram Stories, McDowell lounges on a couch, cradling little Tove across his chest. The newborn is dressed in pale pink shorts and a white T-shirt, her tiny pacifier resting nearby.

“Doesn’t get much better than this,” McDowell captioned the sweet photo, capturing the simple magic of new parenthood.
The couple first introduced Tove Jane McDowell to the world at the end of January, announcing the arrival of their daughter in a joint Instagram post. Alongside a photo of their bundle of joy swaddled in a bassinet, her name monogrammed in gold on a delicate blanket, Collins expressed their profound joy and gratitude as new parents.

Last week, Collins shared a sweet video of herself holding her daughter on her lap while singing along to Genesis’ hit song “I Can’t Dance.” The star, dressed in a cozy tan sweater layered over a white collared shirt, effortlessly belted out the lyrics as she swayed with her baby girl.
