Chanté Moore Announces 2022-2023 Tour Dates
Chanté Moore is capable of more. The seasoned vocalist has revealed fall/winter tour dates only days after giving a stirring performance at the 2022 Soul Train Awards. On December 2, the Soul of Santa Holiday Benefit Concert will kick off the tour at Kansas City, Missouri’s Gem Theater. Eric Benét, a veteran of R&B music, will also play at the gathering.
From there, Moore has performances lined up around the country, including two consecutive December performances in Chicago, Illinois, as well as a New Year’s Eve performance at the Paramount Theater in Oakland, California, alongside Anthony Hamilton.
In addition to those places, Moore will also perform in Washington, D.C., Detroit, Atlanta, and Philadelphia. According to Moore, other dates will be revealed later.
As said earlier, Moore just rocked the Soul Train Awards to the ground. “Love’s Taken Over” and “It’s Alright” from her debut album, Precious, which turned 30 earlier this autumn, were featured in her five-minute performance.
She also offered us a preview of “Chante’s Got a Man,” her hallmark smash from 1999’s This Moment Is Mine.
Throughout the performance, Moore’s husband Stephen Hill, whom she married in October, was always in the spotlight. Those songs from Moore’s upcoming setlist, along with “Right One,” a song with a gospel-influenced feel, are expected to be included.
The motivational song, co-written by Eric Dawkins and produced by Jovan Dawkins, was made available in September 2021.
Moore’s most recent album, 2017’s The Rise of the Phoenix, came out five years ago. That fall, Christmas Back To You, a seasonal project, was released.
In March 2018, Moore released an EP with the title 1 of 4. Guest performers on the five songs were June’s Diary, D. Bryant, Felly the Voice, and Lewis Sky.
