BTS’ Jimin Reveals Stunning Moon-Inspired Back Tattoo

Jimin of BTS has delighted fans with a striking new tattoo. On August 30, 2023, the singer shared a shirtless photo on Instagram, showcasing a dramatic moon-themed tattoo that spans half of his back. The design, done by tattoo artist POLYC, features phases of the moon, starting with crescent shapes and culminating in a shaded moon at the center of his spine.

The reveal was part of a birthday tribute to fellow BTS member Jungkook, who turned 26 on August 31. In the photo, both Jimin and Jungkook posed with their backs to the camera, highlighting Jimin’s new ink and Jungkook’s extensive sleeve of tattoos.

Jimin, 27, has teased this tattoo before, but this is the first time he has shown it in full. The tattoo aligns with Jimin’s ongoing exploration of personal expression through art and fashion. He has previously shared his love for tattoos, including a “13” on his wrist and the number 7 on his finger, which all BTS members have in different locations.

In addition to his musical career, Jimin is making waves in the fashion world as a global ambassador for Dior and Tiffany & Co. His recent appearance has also caught the attention of actor Ryan Gosling, who praised Jimin for his fashion-forward style, particularly in relation to the “Ken” look from the movie Barbie. Gosling even gifted Jimin a guitar from the film as a token of appreciation for Jimin’s style influence.
