
Bad Bunny Goes On World Tour After Claiming Residency
Bad Bunny is officially taking his global star power on the road.
The chart-topping reggaeton sensation has announced a massive international stadium tour that will span continents and run through July 2026.
The Grammy-winning artist will kick off the tour in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in late November. From there, he’ll go around the world, from Latin America to Europe, Asia, and Australia. Thus, in total, he will hit 23 cities across countries. The tour is scheduled to wrap on July 22, 2026, in Belgium.
So, the “De Puerto Rico Para El Mundo” tour will open ticket sales to the public on May 9. This milestone follows the January release of Bad Bunny’s sixth solo album, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. What’s more, it remains firmly planted in the top 10 as of the chart dated May 10. The album is a nostalgic and deeply personal love letter to Puerto Rico. Additionally, blending raw lyricism with genre-defying production.
Bad Bunny: Further Musical Developments
In the lead-up to the global trek, Bad Bunny is gearing up for another major live moment. That being his upcoming residency, No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan. Set to begin July 11, the initial run of nine shows will be exclusively available to Puerto Rican residents. Also, additional dates will be made available to the general public.
Thus, hints of a world tour first surfaced during that residency announcement. When the artist took to social media to share his excitement about visiting places he’s never performed in, including Brazil and Japan. Also, he mentioned returning to fan-favorite destinations like London, Spain, and Italy.
Outside of music, Bad Bunny continues to expand his influence in entertainment. He’s set to appear as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on May 17, alongside host Scarlett Johansson. This marks his third performance on the long-running NBC sketch comedy show.
