Ariana Grande’s Divorce Finalized: Settlement Details Emerge
Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez‘s marriage has officially been dissolved, according to a Los Angeles Superior Court judgment finalized on Tuesday, as reported by the Associated Press. The pop star, 30, and the real estate broker, 28, were married for nearly three years after a private ceremony in May 2021.pen_spark
The couple, who did not have any children, had a prenuptial agreement in place. As per the settlement, Grande will pay Gomez a one-time sum of $1.25 million, with no future alimony payments. She will also split the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles home equally with Gomez and cover up to $25,000 of his legal fees. Representatives for Grande have not yet responded to requests for comment.
Grande and Gomez reportedly separated over a year ago, with Grande filing for divorce in September 2023 citing irreconcilable differences. The couple reached a settlement agreement in October but had to wait six months for the judge’s final order.
Their split unfolded amid rumors of a potential romance between Ariana Grande and her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater, who was also married at the time. Slater has reportedly filed for divorce from his estranged wife, Lilly Jay.
Fresh off the release of her critically acclaimed seventh studio album Eternal Sunshine, Grande is gearing up to portray Glinda on the big screen in the highly anticipated Wicked film adaptation.
