This sighting comes after Cabello and Mendes, who were together for over two years, announced their breakup in November 2021. They shared a joint statement on their Instagram Stories, emphasizing that although their romantic relationship had ended, their bond as best friends remained intact. The statement, signed “Camila and Shawn,” expressed their continued love and appreciation for each other.

Cabello and Mendes‘ relationship dates back to 2014, when they first met while opening for Austin Mahone on tour—Cabello with Fifth Harmony and Mendes as a solo act.
