Olivia Wilde’s Revenge Dress Moment At The 2022 People’s Choice Awards

Olivia Wilde recently canceled the 2022 People’s Choice Awards, so don’t worry, dear! Nearly three weeks after she and Harry Styles split up, the Booksmart director made quite the entrance at the Dec. 6 awards ceremony by sporting her very own revenge dress moment.

The lingerie ensemble, which was taken directly from the brand’s ready-to-wear 2023 collection, had a plunging neckline, a tiered, voluminous skirt, and extensive delicate lace decoration all over. She accessorized with a belt studded with gold hardware, smeared eyeliner that was bold, and easy waves.

Olivia seemed to channel Princess Diana, who created the revenge dress in 1994 after donning a sexy LBD when her estranged husband King Charles III (then a prince) admitted to having an affair. Olivia’s film Don’t Worry Darling won the prize for The Drama Movie of 2022 (see the full list of winners here).

Olivia has made more red-carpet appearances after her separation, too. One day after E! News reported she and Harry had broken up after two years of dating, she delivered the wow factor to the 2022 Governors Awards in Los Angeles on Nov. 19. She was undoubtedly the belle of the ball because of her opera-length gloves and black and white Erdem gown with a mesh overlay.
