Sabrina Carpenter Raised $1 Million for Charity on Her Tour
Sabrina Carpenter is making waves not only with her music but also with her impressive philanthropic efforts. Through her collaboration with Plus1, Carpenter has raised an extraordinary $1 million for charity in less than a year. Thus, she has achieved a milestone as impressive as it is impactful.
The Sabrina Carpenter Fund, launched in partnership with Plus1, was introduced during her “Short n’ Sweet” Tour. The tour kicked off on September 23 in Ohio. Throughout the tour, $1 from each ticket sold was directed to the fund. Thus, it allowed Carpenter to support causes close to her heart. These include Best Friends Animal Society, the Jed Foundation, Rainbow Railroad, and MusiCares.
“Sabrina’s team carefully selected nonprofit organizations that align with her values, ensuring that every dollar raised makes a meaningful difference,” Plus1 shared in its 2024 review.
Sabrina Carpenter and Raising Funds During the Tour
A significant portion of the fund, which consists of $824,000, came from Carpenter’s North American tour. Additionally, the European dates contribute the remaining donations. Plus1’s CEO and founder, Marika Anthony-Shaw, said that Sabrina is setting a new standard. One where artists merge social impact with their career.
Plus1 officially announced the milestone on Monday, which was first reported by Forbes. The organization originated from the band Arcade Fire’s efforts to support Haiti. Thus, it empowers artists to incorporate philanthropy into their tour. Giving them the opportunity to provide support for charity ticketing add-ons. It also provides strategic advice and the creation of philanthropic funds.
Carpenter’s philanthropic efforts emerge at a time when her music is also soaring. Following the success of “Manchild,” she’s gearing up for the release of her much-anticipated album Man’s Best Friend. The album will come out in late August. With each step, Sabrina Carpenter continues redefining what it means to be a pop star. In this way, she blends social impact with artistry in an inspiring and revolutionary way.
