Eminem Is Now Officially A Grandfather to a Baby Boy
Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade shared a joyful announcement on Friday, April 4, revealing her first child last month. In an emotional Instagram post, Hailie introduced the world to her baby boy — and gave fans a touching nod to her famous father.
“Happy due date // 3 weeks earthside little e,” she wrote, alongside a photo of her newborn son resting peacefully. Behind him, a headboard sweetly displays his full name: Elliot Marshall McClintock, born on 3.14.25.
The middle name, Marshall, is a heartfelt tribute to Hailie’s father, whose real name is Marshall Mathers. And fans quickly caught on. Many pointed out that Elliot’s initials — EMM — were a clever homage to Eminem himself.
“His initials are EM & M… Genius! What a little cutie,” one follower commented. Another added, “Not me tearing up at the middle name like I’m related.”

The heartwarming news comes just months after another emotional moment between father and daughter was shared with the world.
Back in October, Hailie surprised Eminem with the news that he was going to be a grandfather — and the reveal became part of a touching scene in the rapper’s “Temporary” music video. In the video clip, Eminem unwraps a gift, a custom jersey with “Grandpa” across the back. Also accompanied by ultrasound photos of Hailie’s baby boy.
“Temporary,” which appeared on Eminem’s 2024 album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), offered a rare glimpse into the artist’s more vulnerable side. The track debuted at No. 56 on the Billboard Hot 100 and resonated deeply with fans — and with Hailie herself.
“I audibly sobbed… I think for both songs, but especially ‘Temporary,'” she shared during an episode of her podcast, Just a Little Shady. She also took a moment to praise her parents, Eminem and Kim Scott, for shielding her from the darker times in their relationship while raising her with care and intention.
As Hailie embarks on this exciting new chapter of motherhood, it’s clear that love — and legacy — run deep in this family. And with a name like Elliot Marshall, it looks like the next generation is already making its mark.
