Sabrina Carpenter Shares a New Cover For The Upcoming Album
On Wednesday, Sabrina Carpenter presented an alternative cover for her highly anticipated album “Man’s Best Friend.” The new artwork is a striking black-and-white photograph featuring Carpenter resting her head on the shoulder of a suited man. Additionally, showing other figures subtly placed in the background.
Thus, this version presents a softer contrast to the original, which sparked controversy. The initial cover, a provocative image captured by photographer Bryce Anderson, depicted Carpenter on all fours. However, most importantly, it showed a suited man gripping her by the hair. This image ignited debates about its portrayal of power dynamics and sexualization.

The original cover, alongside another striking image featuring a dog collar and the album’s title, became a focal point for online discussions. Critics decried the image as objectifying. Meanwhile, some defended Carpenter’s artistic choice as a commentary on control and vulnerability. One viral post even quipped, “Let women be horny.” In this way, it offers a more playful defense of the provocative imagery.
Sabrina Carpenter and the Critisicm
Though Sabrina Carpenter has yet to directly address the backlash, she subtly acknowledged the discourse in her announcement for the alternate cover. So, in a lighthearted twist, she shared, “And here is a new alternate cover approved by God.” Carpenter signed a limited batch of these alternative covers to add a personal touch. Now available on her website as exclusive opaque black and white discs.
The singer also made waves with the announcement of her second collaboration with Dunkin’ Donuts. So, there is now a new batch of Sabrina’s Strawberry Daydream Refresher. Dunkin’ teamed up with photographer and director Nadia Lee Cohen to promote the new beverage for an ad titled “Dunkin’ Daydream Hotline.” It showcases Carpenter assuming the role of a whimsical “Daydream Matchmaker.” In the vintage-style commercial, Carpenter answers calls from a late-night customer in a dreamy, flirtatious setting. Thus, she adds yet another layer to her ever-expanding brand.
With each creative endeavor, Sabrina Carpenter continues to embrace boldness, whether through her music, artwork, or collaborations, proving her ability to stir conversation and captivate audiences with every move.
